In DT we have been researching and finding out about healthy snacks/sandwiches.  We have tasted different types of bread, fillings before designing our own sandwich. Once we had made our sandwich we evaluated it. We reflected on what we found difficult, what we would change and what went well.  We we all surprised at how tasty brown bread actually is. 😁

Today we researched Year 3s favourite type of sandwich filling. We discussed, what the most popular filling was and how we could make it healthier. We also looked at the nutritional value of different types of bread in order to plan our own healthy sandwich.
