SATs- How can I help my child?

Step 1- Keep them calm, be supportive and remind them of our three school rules... READY, RESPECT, SAFE. Ensure that when they come to school they are ready for learning every single day. Also ensure that they have had sufficient sleep and food before they come to school- leave them at the school door with a really positive mindset!

Step 2- Make sure that they are focused on the lead up to our assessments, remind them about positive behaviours that we want to see in school to allow everyone to succeed!

Step 3- Make sure that they keep up with homework (this is just a revision of school work!) Also make sure that they revise. They can use their maths/ SPaG Bibles or  purchase something like CGP Revision Guides

Step 4- Be positive and supportive, try not to put them under too much pressure!
