Today we had a practical lesson to time how long it took us to do a variety of activities (10 hops, singing heads, shoulders, knees and toes, and putting 10 pegs in a peg board). We then compared our times with our partners and decided who was the quickest and slowest. We now know that the quickest person had the shortest amount of time and the slowest person had the longest amount of time.
Carrying on our work with time, we carried out a series of practical tasks today and timed how long they took. We had to write our names, take off our shoes and put them on again and thread beads on a string. We now know how to use a stop watch to measure time.
