This week in Maths it’s been all about 3D shapes. We have been spotting these shapes in our classroom. We have been talking about the properties of these shapes; how many vertices, faces and edges. We wondered which shapes make good stacking blocks, good at rolling or good at sliding down the ramp. It was great fun!

We have been enjoying our new water area in this glorious sunshine. We have been doing lots of tipping, pouring, splashing and definitely lots of laughing. 🌞

This week in Drawing club, we have been looking at the book ‘The Three Billy Goats Gruff’. We have been listening and joining in with telling the story. We have drawn pictures of what we think the troll looks like and thought of describing words when talking about the troll. We also looked at how we would cross the bridge if it fell down and how to save the troll from the water. We used our phonics knowledge to write our sentences remembering our three writing rules; finger space, capital letter at the start and a full stop to finish.
