Week: 17th October
We went for a lovely walk searching for signs of Autumn. We looked at the changes of the trees, the change in temperature and loved looking for conkers. We spoke about all the beautiful colours we could see.
Reading the Little Red Hen has made us wonder how to make bread! We looked for a recipe and wrote a list of the things we needed. We are getting very good at hearing the sounds in words and remembering how to form the letters correctly using our rhymes.
We then rolled up our sleeves and got busy. We remembered that we needed to work as a team to be able to eat the bread at the end. We did fantastic mixing, measuring, pouring and kneading. When we came back from lunch, we were amazed that our bread had grown!!
