In phonics, we have been learning new sounds. We have been saying the sound, thinking of words that starts with the sound, finding the letter and forming the letter. We have been saying rhymes to help us remember how to form the letters. 

In Mindfulness Movements, we did lots of stretching and balancing. We found some stretches a little tricky especially when we had to stand on one leg. Resilience was definitely a skill we had to use! 

In Maths, it’s all about the number 1. We have been finding one object, practising how to correctly form the number 1 and searching for number 1 in the classroom.

We have been looking at circles. It has has one side. We have been on a circle hunt around the classroom and drawing circles. 

We met our buddies on Friday. We had great fun playing games and getting to know them. Soon we will go to Worship with them, read together and play games.
