In P.E, we learnt how to use the apparatus safely. We pretended to be Jack climbing up the beanstalk. We carefully watched our feet whilst climbing down and held on with both hands. We climbed under and over and jumped off the nest table remembering to land correctly. We threw beans into a plant pot counting how many beans we could get in. Our under arm throwing technique is very good! 
 

In Drawing club, we have been looking at the story Jack and the Beanstalk. We have been using our imagination and writing sentences about the castle the giant lives in, how the giant looks and how to catch the giant. The children have thoroughly enjoyed this story and their ideas have been fantastic. 

In Maths, we have learnt all about weight and capacity. We have been using our weighing scales to weigh different objects using the language heavier and lighter. We used pom-poms to make our potion bottles full, half full and empty. 

For Number Day, we designed our T-shirts. We chose a number and then thought of how many ways we could show that number. We drew circles, tally marks, shapes with the same amount of sides as our chosen number, people and lots more. We loved parading our designs to show the rest of our school family in Church.
