In phonics, we have been learning the long ‘oo’ sound and the short ‘oo’ sound. We have been busy reading and writing words with these sounds in and spotting the tricky words. 

In maths, we have been looking at subtraction. We have been solving number sentences with our alien and our giant number line. 

We had great fun coming to school dressed up for World Book day. We read lots of stories together and drew the front cover of our favourite story. We had great fun guessing the story.
