We have waited patiently for our fossils to set (with a little help from the oven!) We have been busy mixing our own grey colour to mix. We remembered to add white to make the black go lighter. We each mixed our grey so we could decide how light our colour was. 

In PE, we have been mastering our fundamental skills. We have been running, hopping, bouncing a ball, catching bean bags and even balancing on a beam. We made it even harder by challenging ourselves to do it with a beanbag on our head. 

In dance, we have been learning how to perform in front of others. We took it in turns to show everyone our moves. We have been busy learning all the steps to our dance. What fantastic memories we have.  

We have been busy in phonics learning new sounds. We are really getting into Read Write Inc and love helping Fred the frog to read. 
We have also been writing sentences, using our phonics knowledge. We have written about what we enjoy doing at school and what we are looking forward to doing in Year 1.
