Worship in Year 2
Thank you to Reverend Anne and friends of our Church for creating the prayer stations for us to go and talk to God.
We have been living out the Gospel Value of ‘Respect’ and thinking how we can ‘fill each other’s buckets’ with kindness. Scarlett had the fabulous idea of making Be Kind stickers for everyone who was nominated to go in our kindness bucket and she even donated a prize for someone’s name to be pulled out of the bucket.
In our Picture News Worship this week we thought about how the president of Ukraine was being brave at this time and when we need to show courage and how God can help us with this too.
Reverend Anne came to visit all our classes this week and we reflected on different people we wanted to pray for as we are learning to show compassion for others and have faith in God.
Picture News Worship Afghanistan Education Rights
In our Picture News Worship we reflected how we are thankful for our school and what we like best about coming to school. We are being inspired by the girls of Afghanistan who continue to campaign to get an education after they turn 11 years old as they are often forced to work then.
Our Prayers for Ukraine Year 2
We joined together as a Christian family with Christians around the world to pray for peace in war torn Ukraine.
Ash Wednesday Worship
In our Ash Wednesday Worship we received a cross on our forehead to symbolise us saying sorry in Lent.
