Our Viking fact files (Autumn term 2022)
This week we have successfully finalised our Viking History topic with a double page fact file to show off everything we have learnt this Half Term. Hopefully our class will be inspired to learn more about the Vikings at home. During our Viking topic we have acquired lots of Viking knowledge and a lots of Viking skills.

Tatton Park- Viking experience day (September 2022)
Today we visited Tatton Park to take part in a Viking Experience day. The children had the opportunity to live the life of a Viking. The visit has equipped them with the skills and knowledge to understand how Vikings lived, these foundations will allow the children to really understand this area of the curriculum. This also provided them with an experience to look around a working farm and meet some piglets that were only two days old. Throughout the day the staff at Tatton park introduced them to a broad range of vocabulary which we will revisit throughout the topic. Please talk to your child about what they have learnt today and ask them any new phrases that they may have heard! Thank you for all the wonderful outfits!
