Week 4
We have been outside, enjoying whizzing around on our bikes. We are becoming very confident on them.
In Maths, we have been looking at height, length and width. We have been busy measuring objects, making towers and making long and short snakes with play dough. We have been ordering ourselves in height order. It was good fun!
In Picture News, we learnt about Rose Ayling-Ellis. Rose is an actress and the winner of Strictly Come Dancing, Rose also is deaf. We spoke about the sense of hearing and what our favourite thing to hear is. We spoke about Makaton; a way of communication through signing. We learnt some animal signs and used them whilst singing Down in the Jungle.
We have been busy learning new sounds and mastering our letter formation. We have found lots of different opportunities to practise.
