Today we enjoyed a special buffet lunch as the whole school came together to celebrate with Year 6 as they leave our Wesham family and move on to pastures new.
Health Week 2022
Today Year 6 planned and led us in a mini sports day in preparation for our actual Sports Day at AFC Fylde. We showed great sportsmanship and encouraged each other.
We have kicked off our health week with a ‘Mindfulness’ workshop. We learnt that mindfulness is thinking about the here and now. We now know strategies to help gather our thoughts and calm our emotions. Year 3 were VERY calm by the end of today’s session.
Jubilee Bake Off
We had the most fabulous selection cakes that had been sent in for the Jubilee bake off. Well done to everyone who took part, I can safely say, we ALL enjoyed eating them. Some very talented bakers.
Jubilee
After being inspired by the Queen’s jubilee, we have made our own crowns. School council reps judged each one and the winners were presented with a prize.
