Week 14th November
Things have been going missing and displays being moved in our class this week. We think it might be the Evil Pea! So, we have decided to make traps to catch the Evil Pea. We looked in our Creative box to see what we could use. We decided kitchen roll tubes would not be a good idea as the pea could run straight through. We spoke about what we would need; cardboard boxes, paper, scissors and sticky tape. The children loved explaining how their trap worked. There were some really good and well thought out designs.

We have been learning all about the number 8. We have been counting to 8, forming the number 8 and finding all the different ways we can split the number 8 using the part, whole model.

We have been practising forming our letters correctly. Saying the rhymes have been really helpful.
