We have some little visitors in class. Some frogspawn! We will be observing what happens over the next two weeks to learn about the frog cycle. We have read a story about Tapple the tadpole and learnt the different stages of the life of a frog. It has made us think how amazing animals truly are. 

The RNLI came in to speak to us about water safety. We learnt about what to do if we got in to trouble in or near water. They spoke to us about how to keep safe and what the different flags mean on the beach.

In P.E, we focused on the skill of rolling a ball. We spoke about what our feet should look like and how to roll the ball in the direction we want it too. We found it tricky but our class friends gave us lots of encouragement to keep trying.

In maths, we revised the skill of addition. We solved number sentences using equipment or our fingers. We are getting very confident with adding digits together. 

We have been learning about penguins. We read the book the Emperors Penguin and we have researched facts about penguins. Did you know to keep warm, penguins huddle together. We tried to huddle together like penguins.
